Today we signed the grant agreement for the “STEMerica” project, financed by the European Social Fund under the call “Strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations for the popularisation of STEM”.

Together with our project partners, the Bioteka Association, Connect-IT, the Višnjan Science and Education Centre, the Faculty of Architecture and the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum, we will organise and carry out:

1. 18 activities aimed at strengthening soft skills and teaching skills (lectures, training sessions and workshops on the premises of the applicant and the partners, for members of the applicant and the partners),
2. 5 study visits,
3. visits to 16 national and 10 international fairs and conferences,
4. the installation of 10 innovative, interactive popular-science installations and exhibits,
5. 10 presentations/workshops of innovative permanent displays,
6. the purchase of a van and its conversion into FabLab’s mobile centre,
7. 20 multi-day interactive workshops,
8. 40 PopUpLab events, and
9. 4 STEM Day events.
