In December 2020 the Croatian Interdisciplinary Society, as a project partner, and the FabLab association, as the project promoter, began work on project element 1: Strengthening the partnership of civil society organisations and involving new members of the thematic network. 

The project element consists of the following activities: mapping civil society organisations that carry out activities in the STEM field, conducting a stakeholder analysis, drafting a questionnaire to be sent to civil society organisations, sending the questionnaire to CSOs working in the STEAM field,  analysing the data obtained from the questionnaire, creating an additional questionnaire to gauge interest in joining the thematic network, compiling a directory of civil society organisations active in the STEAM field in Croatia, mapping interested and potential stakeholders for inclusion in the thematic network, and drawing up and signing Cooperation Agreements with the partner organisations within the project and with at least six additional organisations outside the project consortium. 

Representatives of the Croatian Interdisciplinary Society and FabLab have so far held two virtual meetings at which the working schedule for this project element was agreed. Work is currently under way on preparing the questionnaire for civil society organisations, which they can expect at the beginning of March.
