The two-day 2nd Citizens Engagement Festival starts today. It was only this weekend that I went through the final invitation and the list of invited participants who will have the chance to present their activities for an inclusive society. Of the 12 projects that will get a short speaking slot, we are among the following organisations from the EU: 1. DG JRC 2. The Democratic Society 3. Democracy 4.0 Brussels 4. Danish Board of Technology 5. DG JRC 6. European Committee of the Regions 7. DG JRC 8. DG REGIO 9. ECSITE 10. GOETHE Institute 11. Fablab Hrvatska 12. Missions Publiques I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the other organisations, because I had assumed they would be various associations from across the EU and that there would be many more of them. It is genuinely hard to believe that we have been recognised among organisations such as these.
