Next Wednesday, 2 February 2022, from 16:30 to 18:30, we are opening our doors with a laser cutter session for all lovers of digital technology. The venue is FabLab’s premises at Ilica 69. It is suitable for everyone over 14 years of age – and everyone with creative ideas!
Using our Makeblock laser cutter and Makeblock cutting material (which is in fact a 3 mm A4-sized linden wood board) we can draw whatever we like and then engrave and cut it out on the machine. Perhaps you are already familiar with the laser cutter, or perhaps you are hearing about this machine for the first time… Either way, you are welcome to join. You will learn how to give commands to the laser cutter, how the machine reads the information we give it and in what way. At the end of it all you will get your own original drawing on a wooden board.
