After the 5th Featured Maker Faire Zagreb 2023 held in Sesvete, we are continuing with activities under the name Makers Advent Sesvete – and for the first time in the former administrative building of the one-time Sljeme factory, the future FabCity HUB_S, in cooperation with local stakeholders.

At first glance a small, almost insignificant step, but after 8 years of trying to activate and create HUB_S, at the invitation of the University of Zagreb | Faculty of Architecture and the Green and Blue Sesvete association we will run a few activities in that space, even if only for a few days, and after Advent at that.

Specifically, on 4 January 2024, in cooperation with the Green and Blue Sesvete association and the Virtualci – Virtual History association, we will hold drone piloting training with the piloting exam. The training is free of charge, and we believe the growing number of drones makes it an interesting one. The number of places is limited!

Besides drones, FabLab Hrvatska will offer some digital fabrication devices that visitors will be able to get to know over the coming week – but more on that later.

We also invite interested stakeholders who want to join us to take the chance and at least take a peek inside the former administrative building.
