The Pilot 3 activities of the FabLabNet project focused on connecting with the education system. Our activities involved two primary schools: Lovro pl. Matačić Primary School and Borovje Primary School.

We developed a particularly close collaboration with Borovje Primary School – with its headmistress Branka Štefok Bojadžija, technical education teacher Silvana Pešut Vitasović, and indeed all the school’s teachers, who have shown an interest in our activities from the outset.

As part of the activities, several workshops were held at the school through which teachers and pupils were introduced to individual digital fabrication tools: the 3D printer, the vinyl cutter, the 3D scanner and others. More importantly, however, they were introduced to concepts and procedures such as digitisation, vectorisation, working with vector data, working with raster data, operating the machines and so on.
