We are delighted to announce that our STEMerica project has been given a new face in the shape of our charming little robot, Štemerić. The logo was designed by the design studio Kuna zlatica.

The aim of the STEMerica project, run in partnership with the associations Bioteka and Connect-IT, the Višnjan Astronomical Society, the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture and the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum, is to strengthen the capacities of civil society organisations to deliver interactive, innovative workshops and events at national level in the field of popularising STEM activities.

The project will promote STEM topics and bring them closer to the public, demystify science and disseminate scientific facts to children, young people and the general population through 44 public events (such as the “PopUpLab” mobile centre – a travelling van in which innovative and interactive activities take place – and “STEM Day”), and to children and young people in particular through 20 multi-day, innovative and interactive workshops.
