We spent Thursday and Friday in the city of the most beautiful sunset – Zadar – where, as part of the STEMerica project, we held two PopUp Labs at Bartul Kašić Primary School and Petar Preradović Primary School. With the scent of the sea around us we ran Makey Makey stations where everyone learned how an electrical circuit works, sessions on encryption and sending secret messages, we simulated making our own parachute, explored the world of virtual reality and presented 3D printing and drawing with 3D pens. Our partner organisations took part as well: the Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation with the BIOPLAnet project, the Professor Balthazar association with the Mobile ZEZ Centre project, and IPZ – the Institute for the Popularisation of Science with the STEM Educators project. Children’s laughter and joy accompanied it all – take a look at the photos to see how it looked 🙂 The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund. The project was co-financed by the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The content of this post is the sole responsibility of the FabLab association.
