On Friday, 28 November 2025, we had the honour of visiting I. Primary School Bjelovar, which under the Erasmus+ programme was hosting pupils and teachers from Spain and Germany. The theme of their project is STEM, and we were glad to accept the invitation to run two interactive sessions for pupils in years 7 and 8. 🔬 1. Working with digital technology Through hands-on activities we introduced the pupils to the world of 3D printing, digital design and the use of complex models in everyday life. With logic and engineering games made on a 3D printer, the pupils explored how technology can become a tool for solving real problems. 🌱 2. DIY bioplastic In this session we talked about types of plastic, recycling and sustainable alternatives. The pupils got to see examples of recycled plastic in use and, through their own experiments, to discover how bioplastic can be made – simple, fun and highly educational. Thank you to I.
