Last weekend we participated in the sixth annual Science Picnic in Zagreb. This year’s programme was again both interesting and educational, and everyone had a lot of fun. Girls and boys from FabLab.hr did a great job demonstrating 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies, news in technologies and materials, as well as the potential of these technologies in protecting the environment. This year FabLab.hr manned two booths, one outdoors in the park and one indoors in the hall. We would like to thank the students of Zagreb’s secondary schools – the Faust Vrančić Mechanical Technical School, the Industrial Technical School, the XV Gimnazija and the XIII Gimnazija – for their relentless demonstrations of these technologies, as well as for helping visitors make their own creative souvenirs.
