Yesterday, 20 October 2022, we visited Laslovo Primary School in Slavonia. Along with the “STEM show” and “The science of eggs” performances, we also presented the STEMerica project through several activities: explaining the electrical circuit with a “Makey Makey” device and playing music on bananas, and with the “Human2Human” device; we tried out VR headsets; and we revealed a few secret ciphers to the pupils! The Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation also supported us in delivering the programme, running interesting activities as part of the BIOPLAnet project. They showed the pupils how bioplastic can be obtained from potatoes, and how we can recycle plastic and turn it into useful objects – buttons, a ruler, spinning tops… Take a look at the photos to see how it all looked! 🙂
