Yesterday, 30 December 2021, at the Bogdan Ogrizović Library and Reading Room in Zagreb, the contract was formally signed for the delivery of the “Aviation SysTEM” project, financed under the call “Strengthening the capacities of civil society organisations for the popularisation of STEM” from the European Social Fund.

FabLab takes part in the project as a partner, and the lead partner is the association AvioRadar.hr.

Over the 24 months of the project, examples from air transport will be used to popularise three STEM areas – science, technology and engineering – among children and young people. A total of 300 children and young people from five Croatian regions will be involved, with particular emphasis on children and young people from areas within those regions where pupils do not have adequate access to STEM, and from areas of special state concern.
