This weekend we are on the island of Prvić, where the 13th Faust Vrančić Creative Days are taking place from 10 to 12 October – a three-day event connecting science, technology, creativity and community!

The event is dedicated to the great Croatian inventor and visionary Faust Vrančić, whose legacy continues to inspire us to explore, create and innovate.

Our FabLab team is taking part again this year through the project “STEM as a driver of development”, delivered with the support of the Thematic Systemic Support scheme. Through workshops, demonstrations and conversations with visitors we show how science and technology can be tools for community development and a sustainable future.

Visitors can see 3D printers in action, try out interactive STEM/STEAM activities, and experience how creativity and science meet in the real world.

Our aim is to bring science closer to everyone – children, young people, families and curious minds of all ages – and to encourage new generations of innovators and researchers.

In cooperation with the Otok association, FabLab has for years been contributing to the development of an island of ideas – a place where tradition and innovation meet, building a bridge between the past and the future.

Together we believe that islands can be centres of knowledge, dialogue and creation, and not just summer destinations – because it is precisely by acting together that we build a sustainable and inspiring future!
