The first meeting under Module 1 – Think fast, build smart was successfully held at Gimnazija Nova Gradiška 🚀 During the first meeting on 5 March 2026, the students got to know the basics of the design thinking approach and the way an idea develops from an initial problem to a possible solution. Through joint discussion we analysed examples of problems from everyday life and talked about how ideas for new products, services or technical solutions come about. The students then began, in pairs and groups, to think about the problems they want to solve within the session. They defined the problem, the user and an initial idea for a solution, and got to know the basic tools used in developing ideas, such as the morphological matrix, the requirements list and functional decomposition of a system. This first meeting was an introduction to the further work of Module 1, in which the students will gradually develop their ideas and prepare them for building the first prototypes. The session is run with the support of Fablab Zagreb and the INNCRO-IT association, as part of the DiSTT – Digital Skills Transformation Toolkit for a Resilient Labour Market project, financed through the Interreg Central Europe programme.
