🔹 DiSTT Module 3 – Gimnazija “Matija Mesić” (1st meeting) 🔹 On 10 April 2026 the first meeting of Module 3 – “Digital bodies – 3D bodies” was held at Gimnazija “Matija Mesić” in Slavonski Brod. During the session the students got to know the basics of 3D modelling and 3D technologies, the difference between 2D and 3D representation and the principles of additive manufacturing (3D printing). In the practical part the students: started working in Onshape made their first 3D model (a keyring) got to know the basic modelling features (sketch, extrude, primitive shapes) went through the basic workflow from idea to preparation for 3D printing The session gave them insight into how a digital idea is turned into a physical product, which they will develop further through independent work and at the meetings to come. As part of the independent work planned before the next meeting on 24 April 2026, they will be able to use 3D pens to prototype their own ideas for 3D printing. We look forward to the continuation and to the new 3D models the students will develop through this module!
