FabLab Hrvatska Brings “Uz STEM RaSTEM” to the 14th Creative Days of Faust Vrančić

Date and time: 9–10 October 2026

Location: Prvić Luka

FabLab Hrvatska is once again taking part in the 14th Creative Days of Faust Vrančić in Prvić Luka with its programme “Uz STEM RaSTEM”. FabLab will introduce visitors to science and technology through play and creative activities. Children will have fun building structures with Mammutico foam blocks while developing logical thinking and creativity. They will explore various shapes and objects made using a 3D printer and have the chance to play a guitar made from recycled materials. 🙂 All activities share the message that science inspires society and drives its development.

In cooperation with the Otok association, the event organiser, FabLab has been contributing to the development of local creative and educational initiatives on Prvić for years.

The event programme begins on Friday at 10:30 at Rodina. Alongside FabLab, participants include Zmajoljupci, Krka National Park and the Ruđer Bošković Institute, with creative workshops led by Melita Kraus, Martina Franić, Petra Ocean and Josipa Čoga. The official opening takes place at 18:00 and includes the presentation of the exhibition “Otok nas veže i spaja” by Melita Kraus and Koraljka Kovač.

The programme continues on Saturday from 10:30 with KAP Jasa from Slovenia, the University of Dubrovnik and other participants. Visitors can enjoy science and creative workshops, dancing with Antonia Dorbić, and a screening of “Kako je počela pobuna na mom otoku”, followed by a discussion about the film. A performance by LILI Gee on Saturday at 19:30 at Stara Makina will bring the two-day gathering to a close.

The activities are supported by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development through Thematic Systemic Support in the area of STEM as a Driver of Development, aimed at connecting educational institutions, civil society organisations and scientific institutions, and strengthening the role of STEM in community development.

See you on Prvić.
