If you are in Dubrovnik today or tomorrow, you can find us at the Dubrovnik EXPO event, taking place on 26 and 27 March 2026.

Dubrovnik EXPO is the central regional event connecting educational institutions, organisations and young people with the aim of developing knowledge, career opportunities and cross-sector cooperation.

FabLab Zagreb is taking part in the event within the Thematic Systemic Support scheme of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, through which we present the use of digital fabrication, open technologies and experimental materials in the context of STEM education and the development of local innovation ecosystems.

At our stand we are presenting examples of biomaterials developed through research into sustainable alternatives to conventional materials, as well as a range of 3D-printed prototypes and experimental forms. Visitors can learn how new materials come about, get to know the digital fabrication process and find out more about how it can be applied in education, design and product development.

Through hands-on examples we want to bring closer the potential of the maker approach, interdisciplinary work and open technologies as tools for developing innovation, strengthening STEM competences and encouraging a sustainable approach to production.
