The first study trip to Klagenfurt, Austria, took place from 21 to 23 February 2022 as part of the BIOPLAnet project, in which FabLab is one of the partners. The aim of the trip was to gain an insight into circular-economy activities in Carinthia and to see at first hand the spaces and the people running them.

We were hosted by the startup Plasticpreneur, where Soren Lex looked after us, and then by Makerspace Carinthia, where we were received by Thomas Moser. The visit was extended by a meeting with Alexander Mann, president of the Startup Carinthia association.

On the way back we stopped by RogLab in Ljubljana, but it was closed due to changed Covid regulations, so we could only see it from the outside.
