As part of the STEMerica project we will be running a three-day workshop on 3D modelling, an introduction to 3D printing and making soap moulds, from 9 to 11 May 🙂
Participation is free of charge, but please sign up only if you can attend all three days.
The first day is devoted to 3D modelling and related content – if you have your own laptop, please bring it along. On the first day we will show participants the basics of 3D modelling in the online application Tinkercad. We will also work on practical models.
On the second day participants will be introduced to 3D printing and learn how to transfer 3D models from Tinkercad into the other software needed to communicate with 3D printers (slicing).
On the third day we will make soap moulds, and participants will make – and take home – their own uniquely designed soaps 🙂
