The summer camp held from 25 June to 1 July 2023 within our partner project BIOPLAnet, organised by the Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation on Faust Vrančić’s island, the island of Prvić, was an opportunity to connect local attendees and partners with international experts from various STEAM fields 🪂 During the camp we joined presentations and training by our local and international partners, but we had even more time to “get our hands dirty” in creative and practical sessions and to reawaken a childlike playfulness and curiosity 😄 FabLab ran a session on creating your own design and a personalised bag, while some of the other partners’ sessions covered using a sewing machine, cooking bioplastic from shells and pistachios, and the like 🐚🦀 Through the camp we tried to bring to life the vision and mission of our Adriatic GreenLab initiative, which grew out of the idea of revitalising remote rural island areas through exactly this kind of activity.
