At the end of last week, more precisely on Friday and Saturday, 26 and 27 August, FabLab organised STEAM Week, which brought together representatives of schools and local communities that organise STEAM popularisation events on the one hand, and representatives of projects (“STEMerica” (FabLab), “BIOPLAnet” (Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation), “Mobile ZEZ Centre” (Professor Balthazar), “STEM Educators” (IPZ – Institute for the Popularisation of Science), and the Virtualci and Bioteka associations), with the aim of connecting them and increasing the number of similar events, which is one of the main missions of the “STEMerica” project. Over the two days, everyone had the chance to exchange experience of organising popular science events, to gain insight into the content and offer of the projects currently running, and to learn about the mobile installations available within some of them.
