Today Opatovina Park became a meeting point for science, technology, sport and outdoor education, where many visitors had the chance to enjoy a rich STEM programme and get to know inspiring projects (co-)financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).

The FabLab association presented the world of modern technologies through demonstrations of 3D printers, digital fabrication, robotics, biomaterials and an experimental approach to learning. Visitors of all ages could see, through hands-on examples, how innovations come about – from the first idea and design all the way to the finished product.

The STEM activities brought technology, creativity and a spirit of enquiry closer to children and young people in a fun and accessible way. 🙂

With the aim of strengthening local STEM ecosystems and encouraging cooperation between civil society organisations, educational institutions and the local community, the activities are delivered with the support of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development through the Thematic Systemic Support scheme for the area “STEM as a driver of development”
