The summer camp held from 25 June to 1 July 2023 as part of the partner project BIOPLAnet, organised by the Institute for Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation on the island of Faust Vrančić, the island of Prvić, was an opportunity to connect local participants and partners with international experts from various STEAM fields

During the camp we took part in presentations and training sessions run by our local and international partners, but we had even more time to “get our hands dirty” in creative, hands-on workshops and to reawaken a childlike playfulness and curiosity

FabLab ran a workshop for camp participants on creating their own design and a personalised bag, while workshops by other partners covered using a sewing machine, cooking bioplastic from seashells and pistachios, and the like

Through the camp we tried to bring to life the vision and mission of our Adriatic GreenLab initiative, which grew out of the idea of revitalising remote rural island areas through exactly this kind of activity.
