The NATURA 2000 Visitor Centre in Garešnica was yesterday our host and the co-organiser of the conference “𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗘 – 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿”, together with the North Moslavina Tourist Board, Udruga S F E R I A Garešnica and the Town of Garešnica. The Natura 2000 Garešnica Visitor Centre has the task of promoting the Natura 2000 ecological network and the Poilovlje area that belongs to it, and of educating visitors about all the important facts and factors concerning this exceptionally biodiverse and rich ecosystem. 🌿 The Centre’s aim is to raise awareness of the importance of preserving endangered species, reducing the destruction of plant and animal life, maintaining existing biodiversity and encouraging its increase, and promoting work that seeks to establish a sustainable ecosystem. The public institution managing the Garešnica Visitor Centre offers tourism programmes and activities oriented towards ecotourism, sports and especially cycling tourism, angling tourism, and then educational tourism, adventure tourism and birdwatching. The enthusiasm of the Centre’s staff is infectious, and working with them was, as always, flawless. We are already looking forward to further cooperation, and we encourage you to pay them a visit! 👌✨😊
