Behind us is another international conference, “𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐄 – 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫”, held as part of “Thematic Systemic Support for the area of STEM as a driver of development”, supported by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development.

Yesterday, 12 June, at the NATURA 2000 Visitor Centre in Garešnica, one place brought together representatives of civil society organisations, teachers and educators, staff of development agencies and science communicators from various Croatian towns and – very importantly – representatives of the local and regional community, who not only backed the event but took an active part in it.

We had the honour of having speakers and panellists from abroad contribute their experience to the conference as well. Throughout the day there were panels, lectures, hands-on sessions, discussions and exchanges of experience which will, we are sure, help everyone who attended in their further work.

We are pleased and proud to contribute in this way too to the development of local ecosystems. We are certain we will be reporting from Garešnica again! 😊
