Today, FabLab’s members presented the possibilities of 3D print to students and teaching staff of the Slava Raškaj Secondary Vocational School, with special emphasis on the technologies applicable in professions such as fashion or cooking, or the creation of metal artefacts, since these are the topics complementary with the choice of future professions of the students. Students of Zagreb’s comprehensive schools, Mirta from XV. Gimnazija and Antonija from XIII. Gimnazija, did a great job explaining the diverse possibilities of application of 3D technologies. Students of the Faust Vrančić Secondary Vocational School demonstrated how 3D printers operate, what the 3D printing software solutions look like, and the products of the 3D printers themselves. This was an introductory workshop, and the hands-on follow-up will take place next week. Great teamwork of students from different schools!
