Yesterday was sunny and perfect for running a workshop in the city on four rivers. The county mathematics competition was held at Grabrik Primary School in Karlovac, and after the competition the pupils had the chance to take part in the workshops we ran as part of the STEMerica project, together with the Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation and the Professor Balthazar association. Our association ran the parachutist workshop, Makey Makey banana playing and 3D pens. The participants played “Frère Jacques” on bananas, made parachutists out of plastic bags and clothes pegs, and used 3D pens to make a table, hearts, cherries and similar things.
