PRINT.Fest2017, an international conference on printing technologies, took place on 9 March 2017 at Zagreb’s Sheraton Hotel, where international experts presented current topics in the field of print. On that occasion the president of FabLab, Roberto Vdović, MSc, introduced some of the numerous possibilities of 3D printing and the rapid progress of these revolutionary technologies. In the exhibition part of the programme, an important role was played by pupils of the Faust Vrančić secondary school from Zagreb, who demonstrated the process of 3D scanning and 3D printing to those gathered. Some of the guests were even presented with small 3D-scanned and printed portraits of themselves 🙂
