Adriatic GreenLab is an initiative that grew out of a visit to FabLab Barcelona and GreenLab Valdura back in 2018, and every effort towards realising it builds in experience from earlier EU projects such as MAKE-IT, FabLabNet, DOIT Europe and Centrinno EU Project, and from the national work of the FabLab association on the SCOPE, STEMerica and BIOPLAnet projects, all of which are woven into the comprehensive AGL initiative. In addition, in 2018 FabLab brought in the City of Zagreb, and in 2020 helped the City of Zadar to become part of the FabCity global network of locally self-sufficient, globally connected cities, whose premise is an indispensable part of this idea and movement.
