🔹 DiSTT Module 2 – Gimnazija “Matija Mesić” (final in-person meeting) 🔹 On 27 March 2026 the last in-person meeting of Module 2 – “Patterns with purpose – 2D technologies” was held with the students of Gimnazija “Matija Mesić” This meeting was marked by an emphasis on independent work and applying what they had learned, with the students: *using the diode laser on their own *preparing files and programs for cutting and engraving *making the elements of their projects *and additionally using a pyrography pen for patterns and details on the objects they made Through hands-on work the students successfully connected theory and practice and showed an understanding of 2D shapes, patterns and digital fabrication, using the laser as the main tool for realising their ideas. This meeting concluded the in-person work of Module 2, and what follows is: *independent work on the project assignment *individual and team consultations with the mentor *refining and improving the solutions The students will submit their final work to the mentor, after which comes evaluation and further development of the project.
