Programming the future: DFA Module 1 – Think fast, build smart
The first session of Module 1 –Think fast, build smartwas successfully held at Nova Gradiška Grammar School! 🚀
During the first session, pupils got to know the basics of the design thinking approach and the way an idea develops from an initial problem to a possible solution. In a joint discussion we analysed examples of everyday problems and talked about how ideas for new products, services or technical solutions come about.
The pupils then began, in pairs and groups, to think about problems of their own that they want to solve within the workshop. They defined the problem, the user and an initial idea for a solution, and were introduced to the basic tools used in developing ideas, such as the morphological matrix, the requirements list and functional decomposition of a system.
This first session was an introduction to the further work of Module 1, in which pupils will gradually develop their ideas and prepare them for building the first prototypes.
The workshop is delivered within the DiSTT – Digital Skills Transformation Toolkit for a Resilient Labour Market project, financed through the Interreg Central Europe programme.
