STEAM Week
At the end of last week, on Friday and Saturday, 26 and 27 August, FabLab organised STEAM Week, which brought together representatives of schools and local communities that organise STEAM outreach events on the one hand, and representatives of projects on the other (“STEMerica” (FabLab), “BIOPLAnet” (Institute for Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation), “Mobile ZEZ Centre” (Profesor Baltazar Association), “STEAM Educators” (Institute for the Popularisation of Science), together with the associations Virtualci and Bioteka), with the aim of networking and increasing the number of such events – one of the main missions of the “STEMerica” project.

Over the two days, participants had the chance to exchange experiences of organising popular-science events and to gain insight into the activities and offerings of currently active projects, as well as into the mobile installations available through some of them.
