The collaboration between FabLab Zagreb and the Faculty of Textile Technology of the University of Zagreb continues this year too, through joint educational and research work.

On Wednesday, 11 February 2026, a biomaterials-making session was held – another sign of how we connect science, design and technology in practical work with students. Through experimentation, the development of new materials and an interdisciplinary approach, students get to learn by making – exploring sustainable solutions and innovative approaches to the materials of the future.

Taking part were undergraduate students of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology, along with two students from Italy who came to Zagreb under the Erasmus+ Short-term learning mobility programme.
