FabLab at the Science Picnic
After the third 3D Printing Open Days, FabLab also took part in the Science Picnic at the Zagreb Fair on 11 and 12 December. We digitised visitors, mainly children, and printed the resulting 3D models on a 3D printer, to the delight of the children and their parents alike.

Science Picnic: one printer printing, the other a hologram stand
One printer is fixed and printing at full speed, to the delight of the children 🙂 and the other one we turned into a stand for a hologram while its power supply is being serviced 🙂

The first day went by with the rectifier of one printer burnt out and the head of the other one taken apart. Only the 3D scanners, with Morana, Helena and Luka, worked fine. Today we will try to put things right if we can find a 24V rectifier somewhere, plus…
